The Congregational Church in South Glastonbury

The Congregational Church in South Glastonbury has a strong commitment to missions work and giving.  The Board of Christian Missions is accountable for the allocation and distribution of funds for outreach projects.  The Board’s calling is to identify, evaluate and distribute money to programs that are in alignment with the church’s overall mission and that ultimately make a positive difference in the lives of the recipients.  The Board of Christian Missions’ concentration is in the economic support of recommended programs and to serve as a conduit of information to church members or outside programs for in-kind contributions and fund raisers.  Monetary gifts include aid to organizations in Glastonbury, in the State of Connecticut, around the country, and around the world.  This we do, believing that as we minister unto the least of our sisters and brothers, we minister unto the Lord.  We are thankful to be in partnership with those organizations that extend our reach and share our values that derive from the belief that we are all unique, special, and loved by God.
